The BC Self Employment Program (SEP) helps people with a PWD designation start a sole proprietorship while keeping disability support. The earnings limit is very low, so it’s mostly for testing ideas or supplementing income. Writing off expenses helps reach the cap more slowly, but you could still be cut off if net income is too high. Keeping receipts is critical, and the Annual Earnings Exemption (AEE) resets each year.
